My Thought An interesting one. Not much about their business but of course mostly about their life stories(as the name of the book suggest) starting from struggling to the ownership of their large empire. It's an easy reading. You should not expect much about their theories or suggestions about business or to you, still this book contains some days of their past which morphed them, feed them those qualities and value system and made them stand firmly as time came. And peter Church quiet beautifully portrayed those events.
Most of the stories started with join families, the family business and at the same time the differences that are used to there in family business. Some profiles have mentioned how to overcome those obstacles. So in that sense I can say it's good book to read.
Some of my thoughts after reading their stories

The whole book is about 30 Indian business leaders. Mostly if you'll ask me I liked the story of Captain GR Gopinath owner of Decan Airlines. The way he defined his survival instinct and his thoughts on life it's really an inspiring one.
Subash Menon: A man who defines his goal and at the same time boundary too.
CK Ranganathan: Learning and at the same time have a courage and understanding to apply them is the only way to get success. So whatever you want you can learn if you really believe in so.
Vijaypath Singhania: Importance of love and family over money, business and individual career.
Prof. M.S. Swaminathan: "Father of Green Revolution" in India. Giving back to society and mankind whatever you have gained from here.
Kiran Mazumdar: Stand for equality
NR Narayana Murthy: Hardwork, vision and self independent with respect for others.
GVK Reddy: A rebellion can bring a change
And a thought that is still reverberating inside my mind.

"When a body is tired and feels no pain, when a mind is so much exhausted that feels no anguish then something beyond mind and body maked you endure the journey which you have embarked upon."

Review Home...Garden...Ravi...Parents...Mother...Fence...Food...Books...Friends...Bookshelves...Girls...Grandparents...Those mischievous pranks...Those first adventure...That first desire to see yourself as a grown up man...Those peaceful solitude...Sitting at the edge of window and looking up there, the sky...That shady dusk, birds with wide open wings and making you realize what freedom means...School...First scolding...Fighting....And many more...

And now close your eyes...And try to dissolve all these material nouns around your surrounding air...Or think like they no longer exist any more in your life...Or it never ever happened in your life.
And the way you are feeling now that would be my reflection of my heart after reading this book.

Coming to the friction between two religions and also those tribal invaders...I have a clear idea from the beginning. It matters that you have word called 'Belief' in your dictionary more than on what you belief.

And regarding the book and author's writing style, I can say that the book is in very simple language. I really enjoyed it. But it's really depressing that still our society neglecting them and toward their needs.  see more books

Book Review: The One Thing & Who Moved My Cheese

Title: The One Thing
Author: Gary Keller & Jay Papasan
Language: English
Genre: Business & Self-help

'The one thing' is a quiet interesting book. Though I rarely read books which belongs to this genre. Still the way author has expressed many issues from our day to day life, I like them.

It would be really difficult to focus on a single thing which really means a lot to you.

True to myself, I am not sure what should I comment on this book. I hope  Gary and Jay will not disappoint you. In my suggestion you can try this book once and learn something from it.

                                Title: Who moved my Cheese
                                Author: Dr. Spencer Johnson
                                Language: English
                                Genre: Business & Self-help

I would really like to suggest you this book. The story is really fascinating. It's really simple and short. Those pictures are also really awesome. The writing style is so much simple, easy and inspiring that you can never put it down. I'll choose this book as a better one over the previous one 'The One Thing'. see more books >>

Book Review: Zorba the Greek

BOOK TITLE: ZORBA THE GREEK
AUTHOR: NIKOS KAZANTZAKIS
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH
GENRE: PHILOSOPHICAL, FICTION

LIFE-LOVE-FREE-HOPE-KIND-LIVE Sometime I use to think though these four letter words are easy to  pronounce but still very difficult to understand. I mean being a educated person having a good family still sometime your heart can feel an invisible boundary. Not sure who made it. As per my knowledge and intuitions I can say it may be myself  only. Loading a bunch of hopes, ambitions, dreams on your back...taking all the expectations and responsibilities of the society on your shoulder and diluting your mind with others thoughts, sayings and ideas..someday perhaps we may realize that the pure and the only you or me(Some use to name it inner soul or inner-self---I am not sure how to name it) is lost.

Yeah..I am also little bit envy of this character 'The Zorba'. Coming to the book you'll really fall in love with this book and all of it's characters. And if you you want to know the story of this book, then you should take a look of Nikos's tombstone. Either you can google it or you can visit there. But put a glance on the encrypted message:
